What better way to appreciate nature than to spend the night in it! Many Ontario campsites at various parks have now opened. Campsites have certain measures in place such as asking their visitors to wear masks in public areas while enjoying outdoor time spent with your social circle.
We have lots of great campsites here in the Ottawa area, so if spending a night under the stars sounds like fun to you, you will love these 10 awesome campsites near Ottawa!
Each campsite is located less than 2hrs away from Ottawa, making these locations quick and easy to get to! We will start our list in order from closest to farthest away.

Breezy Hill Camping & RV Park is located just off highway 417 in Kinburn. This family ran campground features 123 campsites that come with water hydro and sewer as well as your own firepit and picnic table. Located just south of Bourget in the middle of the lush Larose Forest, you would never know that you are only 45 minutes from downtown Ottawa! McCullough’s Landing Campground is located on the tranquil Mississippi Lake just between Perth and Carleton Place. The campground is situated on 50 acres. They offer both tent and RV site rentals.
