The town of is conveniently located southwest of Ottawa. You can be in Kanata in only 25 minutes, or downtown Ottawa in less than 40. This makes Carleton Place a great suburb to live in if you are commuting for work into Kanata or Stittsville. Carleton Place comes with all of the great amenities like a variety of grocery stores, a hospital, many restaurants, big box stores, spas, recreation centres and so much more! But, if you need to go into the city for Costco or Ikea, it’s only a short drive away. The town is also conveniently located along Highway 7 which makes travelling a breeze!

There is also a smaller Catholic school called St. Gregory Catholic School that teaches Junior Kindergarten to grade 3. The town also features a dance school, an adult learning centre, Julia’s School of Music, and a driving centre. This large lake stretches over 17kms and features an abundance of cottages along the shoreline.
