Proudly Giving Back to Our Community
At The Susan and Moe Team, giving back to our community is paramount.
We are proud supporters of CHEO, Kanata Food Cupboard, Rotary Club of Nepean-Kanata, Goulbourn Girls Hockey Association, and the Habitat for Humanity Greater Ottawa.
We Support Ottawa Charities
Susan and her great friend Ryan Ricci are responsible for organizing the Zombie Run for Humanity. The fantastic event raised money for Habitat for Humanity Greater Ottawa (GO). The event was a thrilling post-apocalyptic 5 km obstacle course. The course could be easily enjoyed by runners of any level of fitness. Susan and Ryan were involved in every aspect of the Zombie Run. They promoted and developed the course as well as hopped onto the course and built the obstacles with their own hands.
Sadly, the Zombie Run came to an end last year.
The 5 years of the Zombie Run were amazing. We are privileged to have had the opportunity to partner with so many great people to make each year's event a ton of fun. We are so thankful to everyone that volunteered their time and our sponsors who provided support to make it happen. - Susan Vacheresse & Ryan Ricci
Between 2012-2017, Susan and Ryan helped raise nearly $40,000 for Habitat for Humanity GO with the Zombie Run.
New for 2018, Susan held the first annual Fasci-NATION With Humanity at Billings Estate. The event was a success and so much fun was had! The event raised $1,500 in its very first year and we hope to increase that number next year.
This fantastic networking opportunity brings Ottawa’s most influential ladies together as they enjoy a Tea Party extraordinaire on the grounds of the beautiful Billing Estate. Bring your party dress and attach your fascinator or fancy hat and come and join in on the fun snacking on scones, sweets, sandwiches and of course, tea.
Check out Fasci-NATION With Humanity on the Facebook page to learn more about the event and how you can be a part of it: www.facebook.com/Fascinationwithhumanity/

As the club president, Moe embodies the values of a true Rotarian: to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and to advance goodwill and peace around the world. Moe has been involved with the Rotary Club for five years now and is excited to lead his branch into 2019.
How You Can Get Involved:
Considering a Move?
Call The Susan and Moe Team, let us know you are affiliated with Habitat for Humanity Greater Ottawa, The Children's Miracle Network, Kanata Food Cupboard, Rotary Club of Nepean-Kanata or the Goulbourn Girls Hockey Association and allow us to serve your real estate needs. Upon the successful closing on your purchase and/or sale, we will personally donate $500 to the charity we support of your choice!
Know Someone Looking to Move?
Even if you are not personally contemplating a move, you can still help us support these charities. If you know of someone considering a move and in need of a recommendation to a successful real estate agent, call us! Let us know the best way to connect with them. Should we support their needs and successfully help them buy and/or sell their home, we will make the same $500 donation to the charity we support of your choice!
