Ingredients: (1 Serving)
1 and 1/2 Cup of Seedless Watermelon, cubed
1 and 1/2 Lemons, juiced
1 and 1/4 Teaspoons of Simple Syrup
2 oz of Soda Water
1 Cup of Ice
What You’ll Need: A blender.
Crafting this fruity concoction is simple, first let’s begin by cutting up about 1/4 of a whole watermelon and cutting it into cubes. Now, plop them into the blender container. Next, it’s time to thoroughly squeeze 1 and 1/2 lemons onto your cubed watermelon. Add in 1 and 1/4 teaspoons of simple syrup, and 2oz of soda water. Finally, in 1 cup of ice and blend! Feeling fancy? Garnish your Watermelon Lemonade Slush with a pink lemonade sugar rim! Utilize your left over 1/2 lemon by squeezing enough of it’s contents to ensure you can effectively dip about 1/4 inch of your glassware in. Now, just add enough sugar to cover 1/4 inch of your glassware, to a seperate dessert plate, along with one drop of red food colouring and be sure to thorougly mix. Start with one drop of food colouring, and add one drop at a time and mix to acheive your desired vibrancy. It’s dipping time! Dip your glassware rimside down into the lemon juice, gently shake the excess off and dip into the coloured sugar. Give it a few twists and spins, and voila!
